Established to provide financial assistance for college to high school seniors of Hispanic descent.
Applicants must be high school seniors of Hispanic descent, with at least one parent from a Spanish-speaking Latin American country or Spain. They must be legal residents or citizens of the United States, have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average, and be entering as a full-time student at a 2-year or 4-year accredtied college recommended in the Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine’s ”Publisher’s Picks List.” To apply, students must submit a completed application form, a letter of acceptance from the college they will be attending, a copy of their high school transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from their high school counselor. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit.
