Presidential Scholarships are awarded to the most academically talented out-of-state first year students admitted to UVM. Recipients typically rank in the top 20% of their graduating class and have a minimum 1800 SAT CR/M/W or 26 ACT composite.
Recipients are awarded a four-year (eight semesters) merit scholarship of up to $11,000 annually.
A cumulative of 3.0 grade point average and enrollment in 12 or more credits per semester are required for renewal.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
