The APS Minority Scholarship helps increase the number of under-represented minorities obtaining degrees in physics. It provides funding and mentoring to minority physics students, helping them enhance their education and successfully prepare for a variety of careers.


African-American, Hispanic American, or Native American U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are majoring or planning to major in physics, and who are a high school senior, college freshman, or sophomore are eligible to apply.
