Administered by the TELACU Education Foundation, the Scholarship Program was created in 1983 to develop and empower leaders in the communities it serves. Forty colleges and universities throughout the nation have joined TELACU in its commitment to help provide access to higher education for deserving students.


1. Must be a first-generation college student.
2. Must be from a low-income family.
3. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
4. Must be a permanent resident of unincorporated East Los Angeles, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Huntington Park, City of Los Angeles, Montebello, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera, Pomona & the Inland Empire, Santa Ana, South Gate, or other communities selected by the LINC TELACU Education Foundation for inclusion in the Scholarship Progam.
