The Robert Taylor Bonds Scholarship in Education is awarded annually; and supports tuition, fees and books (depending on availability of funds) for the spring and fall semesters and summer sessions for four (4) academic years, provided the recipient remains eligible. Continuing eligibility for the award will be determined each semester. Awardees will be known as “Bonds Scholars.”


Applicants must reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, be enrolled as a full-time student in one of the University’s four-year teacher education programs; and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
